Classes at Desa Retreat
Welcome to our soul-nourishing classes, a sanctuary for practitioners of all levels. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or new to the practice, our doors are open for drop-ins or card passes inviting you to immerse yourself in the transformative power of yoga and qigong.
At Desa, we celebrate the diversity of yoga and the unique expression of each teacher’s style. Our experienced instructors are trained in a wide array of yoga practices, including Hatha Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Kundalini, Nada, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Slow Flow, Meditation, and Sound Journeys. However, we take pride in fostering a fluid and spontaneous approach to our classes.
Rather than rigidly categorizing classes by specific styles, we encourage our practitioners to explore the essence of each teacher’s offerings in the present moment.
By embracing this open and intuitive approach, we create a dynamic and transformative space where each class becomes an authentic experience, guided by the energies of both the teacher and the students. We hope you will enjoy allowing the magic of yoga to unfold in the present moment, so your practice becomes a ‘one-of-a-kind’ expression of your heart and soul.
We are located at Desa Retreat Studio – 12 Ocean Boulevard, Jan Juc, Victoria 3228.
Parking within the property via Ocean Boulevard or Broadbeach Road gate. If parking outside, we kindly ask you to choose the naturestrip and avoid parking on the street for safety reasons.
What to Bring
While we provide a range of yoga equipment, including mats, blocks, bolsters, cushions, straps, cork balls, and blankets at your disposal, we encourage you to bring your own for a more personalized experience.
Our classes are limited to 16 students, so bookings are essential to secure your spot. Should your plans change, we kindly request a 4-hour notice for cancellations to avoid full payment.
This timetable will commence from Friday 1st September – all classes 75 minutes.
